The Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan Team operates under the Urban Planning, Development and Preservation Association – Jerusalem (hereinafter: the “Team”).
The Team manages and promotes a wide range of transportation projects in Jerusalem and the metropolitan area, with a primary focus on the planning and development of a mass transit system and its associated public transportation network. The flagship project managed and promoted by the Team on behalf of the public sector is the planning and construction of Jerusalem’s Light Rail lines.
As part of its activities, the Team is also involved in planning the road system and public transportation network and integrating them with one another, as well as in planning supporting systems, such as Park & Ride facilities and bus terminals.
As part of this Request for Information (RFI), the Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan Team seeks to obtain information from professional entities, companies, research institutions, public and private organizations, and entities with relevant experience regarding methodologies, models, platforms, and tools that support transportation and urban planning, analysis, and decision-making in the field of non-motorized transportation.
